Apparel Tech Pack Design , Pattern and Sample Manufacturing Procedure
The process starts with making Clothing Design and Preparing Technical Specification Sheets ( Tech Pack ). Tech Pack Design is the beginning and the Base of a good Collection or Brand Value. The accurate and robust the Tech pack , the less cost and more efficient the production procedure. So For those who are looking out for a good and effective clothing line collection or are already in to the Apparel Business finding the right person who can take their vision to the next level is a big challenge. The best situation is when a client has a finished pattern and a tech pack. If you only have a concept, picture of the model or a sketch, it will take longer. Having a Tech Pack , Sample or Similar garment on hand is a good start.
A. Collection Design, Inspiration Clothing Design and Line Sheet Creation
Clothing Line Sheet Design starts from the concepts inspiration and buyer requirements and specification. The initial sketch is then approved by the buyer or client before proceeding to the next step of Tech Pack Design. Your Collection Line Sheet must comply with the current trend and market inspiration. You must check in the trend books before proceeding with your line sheet design.
The buyer then gives his specifications of Fabrics, Colors details to proceed for the Tech Pack. Clothing Designer then provides the details on the Tech Pack along with the Technical Details, like Fabric Details, Trim Details, Stitching Details, Measurement Details ( Graphical ), Measurement Spec Sheet to make the garment sketch a factory ready Technical Design. The Tech Pack is then goes to the factory for further processing.
